We have now added two new important tools to help with estimating costs of projects.
There is a tool for estimating operational expenditure, the OpEx Tool.
There is also a tool to help with estimating capital costs, the capital costs range finder.
Both these tools are provided by Network Rail. The capital costs tool is in Beta and is undergoing further testing and development. Outputs from the capital costs tool should be considered as indicative only. Additional data will be added to the tool once it is available and has been quality assured, to provide users with a wider sample of schemes with which to review. There is also ongoing development work to improve future usability.
